ERG Proudly Announces Partner Richard T. Guarino as New President of Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMAR)

Online, September 21, 2012 (Newswire.com) - ERG Property Advisors is proud to announce that Richard Guarino, partner at ERG Property Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage company based in New York City, has been sworn in as president of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMAR).

Officially representing the real estate industry since 1924, BMAR is the local chapter for the New York State and National Association of Realtors. The organization strives to sponsor meaningful programs and services which enhance members' ability to conduct their business in a competent and ethical manner, to promote cooperation and networking among its members, and to promote the public's right to use and transfer real estate property.

As BMAR President, Guarino, who has conducted hundreds of real estate transactions over the course of his career, will work strategically with the Board of Directors, staff, and members of BMAR to raise awareness of the organization and support and further its mission. As head of BMAR, Guarino will continue his record as an advocate for community and volunteer work. Richard is a long-term volunteer at the Fathers Heart Ministries in Manhattan, and he and his wife Jennifer give their time to the local animal shelter near their home in Port Washington. "We give a voice to the voiceless" says Guarino, who has dedicated innumerable hours to the humane treatment of abused animals.

Much like his volunteer work, Richard has also excelled in the private sector. Since starting his real estate career in 1999, Richard has been involved in hundreds of real estate transactions in the Tri-State area. Notable transactions include such trophy properties as the United Charities Building in Manhattan's Gramercy Park, The Circle in the Square Theater in Greenwich Village, as well as the Korean Village Shopping Mall in Flushing, Queens.

Before Guarino began his successful real estate career, he established an exceptional knowledge of the streets of the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan at his first job installing and maintaining over 120 pay phones for RJM Communications. This knowledge has paid off not just for Guarino, but for his clients, business partners and investors as well.
