Online, October 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Erin Lale, Libertarian candidate for Nevada State Assembly District 29, picked up another endorsement this week when she spoke at the Citizens' Awareness Network event "NORML Presents Gary Johnson." Sensible Nevada is a pro- medical marijuana group.
Lale says, "Although I can't use it myself, due to allergies, just because I can't use marijuana doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to use it. People should be free to come here and spend their money. We should end marijuana prohibition, have full adult rights for all adults 18 and over, have legal brothels in the Las Vegas casino resort corridor, and legal gay marriage, all of which will bring tourists and their money here to help our economy. Some other things we can do to help the economy are to legalize microbusiness and have a total tax holiday for all new startup businesses in their first year to encourage entrepreneurship."
Other speakers at the event included Gary Johnson, former two term Governor of New Mexico, and local candidates Laurie Bisch and Don Chairez.
