Ernest "The Cat" Miller Announces Guest Manager for His Match Against Dan "The Beast" Severn at Rumble in River City Presented by Budweiser

Online, April 29, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Ronin' Productions LLC, presenter of the River City Sports Festival [RCSF], and Impact Pro Wrestling [IPW] of Iowa today announced that AJ Ellingson, sports director at CBS television affiliate KIMT in Mason City, Iowa, will join the card at Rumble in River City presented by Budweiser as a guest manager for Ernest "The Cat" Miller, former WCW superstar and RCSF commissioner. Ellingson is being trained ahead of the final match between Miller and Dan "The Beast" Severn, NWA superstar and UFC Triple Crown Champion, by Sonny Onoo, chairman of Ronin' and former WCW superstar, as well as a resident of Mason City.

"I love watching sports, and since I became the sports director at KIMT, I've hoped to experience the sports that North Iowa and Southern Minnesota have," said Ellingson, a native of Iowa where he has lived his entire life. "I'm hoping my sports enthusiasm and having spent so much time at the gym will prepare me not only for the physical challenges of the squared circle with some of the best superstars pro wrestling can offer, but also get me ready for the excitement that Rumble in River City is bringing to the already jam-packed amateur sporting event that River City Sports Festival is offering."

Ronin' and IPW will soon announce guest managers for Severn, who will be putting on a karate demonstration at a scheduled mixed-martial arts clinic May 9, the day before the RCSF karate competition begins.

Budweiser, the title sponsor of Rumble in River City, the headlining show at RCSF, May 9 - 11, 2014, and Kabrick Distributing Company of Mason City Inc., the local Budweiser distributor, will manage all sponsorship activities for the wrestling event. Some of those activities include hosting pro wrestling icon Gorgeous George for a special appearance Friday, May 2, at Eleven Lounge, a night club in Mason City, where Rumble in River City tickets can be purchased. Budweiser and Kabrick will also be inviting special guests to a VIP Pre-Party for an autograph signing with all the wrestling superstars appearing at Rumble in River City. And they will also host a post-event party at Eleven.

Rumble in River City is a professional wrestling spectacular scheduled to celebrate RCSF tournament champions on Saturday night, May 10, at North Iowa Area Community College [NIACC], also the venue for many of the RCSF competitions. Former NWA, WWE, WCW and current TNA/Impact superstars will battle each other, including Gorgeous George; Disco Inferno; Chae, former NFL Atlanta Falcons cheerleader and WCW Nitro Girl; TNA Superstar Garett Bischoff, the son of pro wrestling icon Eric Bischoff; Severn; and Miller.

Rumble in River City is being produced in association with Ronin' and IPW, a long-time wrestling event promoter and training facility.
