ESchoolView's Scholarship Program Has Returned, Yet Again!
Online, September 30, 2013 (Newswire.com) - School just started, but it's time for high school seniors to face the big question: What does the future hold?
eSchoolView has committed more than $35,000 in its Investing in Our Future program to help students plan for their next step. The Columbus, Ohio-based website developer has upped its ante once again.
With more than $35,000 projected toward scholarships, mentoring and other services, eSchoolView is dedicated to helping students develop 21st century skills, prepare for the future and define their career path. The company has offered more time and money in each of the program's three years for the development of future leaders.
National statistics show more than 50 percent of incoming college students are undecided about their majors-and then on average 50-80 percent change their majors at least once while working toward their undergraduate degree. Furthermore, tuition across the country continues to rise, adding up to nearly $1 trillion of student debt in the U.S.
eSchoolView wants to be part of the solution for students and parents and their oft-looming dilemma.
Eight scholarships, totaling $15,000 are up for grabs this year as part of Investing in Our Future. The following awards will be offered in the Web Design and Development contest that is open to high school seniors across the country.
One - $5,000
Two - $2,500
Three - $1,000
eSchoolView's Web Design and Development contest helps students focus on a career path by simulating a true work-environment where students are required to design and develop an educational website for a pseudo client. The contest for the 2013-14 school year opened Sept.1.
eSchoolView's team also teaches a coding class to eight-graders in Reynoldsburg City Schools (Ohio), provides internships and offers mentoring to first-year students and scholarships winners part of the Investing in Our Future program.
