Essential Imagery Partners With Doctors Without Borders to Offer 'Pet Portraits for Haiti'
Online, January 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Kristen Kalp, the photographer behind Philadelphia's Essential Imagery, has created the Pet Portraits for Haiti event to benefit Doctors Without Borders.
"I was overwhelmed by a strong desire to help the earthquake's many victims through the creation of artwork," says Kalp. Devastated by the footage issuing from Haiti in recent weeks, she created the Pet Portraits for Haiti portrait event. One hundred percent of Pet Portraits for Haiti package proceeds will be donated through the portrait event's end on March 15, 2010. This event underscores Essential Imagery's (www.essentialimagery.com) dedication to giving back to the global community and to touching the lives of local residents through the creation of fine photography.
The Pet Portraits for Haiti $65 package, valued at $290, includes a custom thirty-minute portrait session at the client's home or a local dog park and a five-by-seven inch matted metallic portrait. All pet portraits for Haiti are perfected before being presented to event participants.
Kalp welcomes sessions on the Main Line, Philadelphia suburbs and the city itself. She looks forward to working with Philadelphia pets and their owners to make a generous contribution to Doctors Without Borders' efforts in Haiti. Booking information and event details can be found at www.essentialimagery.com/blog/haiti.
