ETC Announces the Addition of Jodi Jamison as General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer
LOS ANGELES, July 19, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Electronic Transaction Clearing Inc. (“ETC”) is pleased to announce the addition of Jodi Jamison, who will be joining the company as general counsel and chief regulatory officer. She will report directly to Vincent Lupo, chief executive officer of the firm, and will oversee the regulations division of the company with broad executive oversight of the compliance division, as well as regulatory affairs function of the firm. In addition, Ms. Jamison will serve as the primary legal representative of the company, overseeing all legal aspects of the firm, as well as that of outside counsel, and will provide senior management with legal guidance on all matters that affect the company. She will also serve on the firm’s executive committee.
With more than 20 years of legal and regulatory experience, Ms. Jamison has extensive knowledge of securities and banking regulations. Furthermore, she has wide-ranging expertise in overall regulatory compliance, as well as contract negotiation. Prior to joining ETC, Ms. Jamison held positions for over 10 years as a staff attorney in the Division of Enforcement, as well as the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations for the Securities and Exchange Commission. Most recently, she was senior managing counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. At BNY Mellon, Ms. Jamison served in varying capacities, including that of chief legal officer over four of the bank’s subsidiary broker-dealers.
