EU Funds 2010 The 5th European Annual Symposium in Berlin - ERDF, ESF, CF, EAFRD and EFF
Online, February 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - 2010 will turn out to be an important year for both the actual and future delivery of EU Funding. The ex-post evaluations of programmes are nearing completion. The simplification of procedures and faster implementation of Operational Programmes has developed to be a relatively controversial topic. The economic crisis has shown Europe its economic limitations. Hence, there has been a change of heart in relation to grants and aid policies as well as in the availability of European funding. New methods and ways have come into focus and financial control obligations have to be met. At the same time, the next programming period should be prepared. Looking at the actual period 2007-2013, how will the results shape the future of programmes after 2013?
The 5th European Annual Symposium provides answers to this and other key questions. In workshops, discussions and lectures top-class experts illustrate and explain significant topics such as sampling, risk analysis, eligibility of expenditure and the application of state aid rules. Strategic discussions will mingle with issues concerning the implementing level in the Member States. The event is primarily targeting public officials such as Directors, Heads of Units, Programme Managers and Auditors dealing with EU
Funds.
