Online, November 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Eureka Springs West Tourism Association Opens First Official Visitors Facility With New Advertising Theme, "Discover Nature's Best, In Eureka Springs West"
(Eureka Springs, AR) Eureka Springs West Tourism Association has announced the opening of their new Official Tourism Center at Riverview Cabins, Canoes & General Store on Rt. 62, a quarter-mile east of the White River Bridge.
The facility offers promotional materials and information on lodging, weddings, fishing, water sports, entertainment, restaurants, leisure activities, and other visitor support services, throughout the Eureka Springs West area, primarily around the White River and Beaver Lake area
"Many visitors don't realize all there is to do and see in the western area of Eureka Springs. While downtown offers excellent shopping, great art galleries, entertainment and historically significant buildings, Eureka Springs West offers natural landmarks and unique alternatives in a tranquil, outdoor setting consisting of lakes, springs, hills, the river, and a wide variety of wildlife," said Wanda Kertzman, President of the Eureka Springs West Tourism Association.
She added, "Beaver Lake and the White River are already popular destinations for fishermen and water-sports enthusiasts, but others are not aware of the many activities and services offered here and the spectacular natural beauty of the area. Visitors often tell us how much they have enjoyed that quiet beauty. Our goal is to ensure that tourists see the most unique aspects of our community. We don't want them to miss an Ozark sunset, a White River canoe float, or the memory of dipping their toes in Beaver Lake for the first time."
To increase visitors to the new tourism center and the association's web site eurekaspringswest.com, ESWTA is introducing a new advertising slogan: "Discover Nature's Best, In Eureka Springs West". The slogan will be featured on two new billboards on Rt. 62 promoting the new tourism center, on the association's web site, and other promotional material.
Organization Background
The Eureka Springs West Tourism Association was founded in 2000 to promote the businesses on the north and east sides of Beaver Lake, the White River, and along west Highway 62 and the south 187 loop.
