"Total transparency of the EuroVoice Contest results is ensured with the use of the unique online Contest Portal - http://www.eurovoice.tv/, which gives musicians a platform for publicity and where music-lovers can listen to the contest entries and vote." A Musical Revolution in Paris!
On September 29, 2009 producer and composer Eric Serra announced the launch of a new European TV music project, the EuroVoice European Music Contest, at a press conference in Paris.
This progressive idea, paired with sophisticated new technology, has enabled EuroVoice to start a musical revolution and really sets this music contest apart from all others. EuroVoice is the first music contest which does not use a selective panel of judges to decide the winner. Instead, it is the listening and viewing public who decide. EuroVoice wants to bring honesty, openness, transparency and political
impartiality back to the European music industry.
Nino Bakradze, member of the EuroVoice Organising Committee:
"We want to give talented musicians a chance to break into the music industry. We hope to discover at least 20 new acts..."
Musicians, singers and bands from any country in Europe, Turkey and Israel can take part in the EuroVoice Music Contest. The Contest is supported by famous music stars from all around the world.
Eric Serra, producer, amazing bass-guitarist and composer of the film soundtracks to The Fifth Element, Nikita, Leon and Joan of Arc, is the EuroVoice Music Contest President and Chairman of the Council of Experts.
Eric Serra, EuroVoice European Music Contest President and Chairman of the Council of Experts:
"The main thing which sets the EuroVoice Contest apart from all the others is that all the public votes will be clearly displayed online on the Contest Portal. You will be able to see the number of people who have voted and check the results. I cannot influence the voting process in any way whatsoever. Only the results of the public vote will decide the winner. All I can do is observe the proceedings..."
Total transparency of the EuroVoice Contest results is ensured with the use of the unique online Contest Portal - http://www.eurovoice.tv/, which gives musicians a platform for publicity and where music-lovers can listen to the contest entries and vote. The use of the Contest Portal means that everyone can be safe in the knowledge that each and every vote is honestly recorded.
All the information you may need about the Contest is already online, including detailed information about the Rules and Regulations. A new section of the website is about to be launched very soon.
Here, the musicians will be able to upload their songs and absolutely anyone who wants to will be able to listen to the contestants' entries.
Nino Bakradze, member of the EuroVoice Organising Committee:
"Every Luc Besson film is a cinematographic masterpiece. In turn, every Eric Serra soundtrack composed for those films is a musical masterpiece. With backing from Eric Serra, it's not hard to imagine that EuroVoice will also be such a great masterpiece."
