EV Tech Takes Part in National Plug In Day Event in Dallas
WHAT: EV Tech will join hundreds of Dallas Area electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts at the Shops at Park Lane to highlight the fun, clean-air benefits, and cost-savings of electric cars on September 28th-29th, 2013. The event is part of the third annual National Plug In Day.
The event will be led by local plug-in drivers and advocates and will include a combination of EV parades, ride-and-drives, electric tailgate parties, press conferences, award ceremonies, informational booths, and more. Plug In America, Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association serve as the national team providing support to the events throughout the country. We are pleased to partner with the many other organizations and individuals working to bring National Plug In Day to communities across the country.
Dallas's event is one of more than 60 across the country where electric vehicle owners and their neighbors will hold electric car parades, "tailpipe-free" tailgate parties, recognition of leaders promoting EVs, launches of new public EV charging stations, and other public events.

VISUALS: We will have ride-and-drives for the all new Tesla S sedan as well as test rides for EV Tech's line of Law Enforcement/Fire-Rescue electric bicycles. We will also be showcasing our commercial and residential EV charging units as well as a mini vertical axis wind turbine.
