Eva Minge Spring Summer Show 2011, held on the 15th of September 2010 at New York Fashion Week was inspired, sponsored and dedicated to the 30 years anniversary of Solidarity.
Online, September 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Eva Minge Spring/Summer 2011 collection presented at the New York Fashion Week was dedicated and part of Polish Solidarity Campaign.
Solidarity is a polish phenomenon, the biggest movement in world history with 10mln members. It gave freedom to Poland and all Eastern Europe. Communism collapsed because of the Solidarity Movement lead by Lech Walesa, peace noble prize winner.
The show of Eva Minge opened by Lech Walesa's speech (US Congress 1989) that starts by the first sentence of US constitution "We the people..." Eva Minge's collection included many solidarity messages on jeans, t- shirts, dresses...."solidarity...comes fashion."
In the Spring Summer 2011 ready to wear line, the polish designer uses a variety of warm, desert-colored fabrics in a mysterious, refreshing way. Swarovski stones, raw cotton, precious silks, and military accents are combined to create a romantic, feminine silhouette with a modern, rebellious edge. All accessories in the collection, including jewelry, bags, sunglasses and shoes are designed by Eva Minge.
Eva Minge's brand was founded in 1989, the designer creates luxury ready to wear, couture, accessories and interior design.
