Events To Remember President, Chereese Jervis-Hill Receives 2011 Rising Star Award

Online, June 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Business Council of Westchester, the county's largest business membership organization, has named Chereese Jervis-Hill, president of Events To Remember, a Rising Star for 2011.

Modeled after the national business recognition program "Forty under Forty," the Business Council's Annual Rising Star Awards honor the extraordinary accomplishments of Westchester's young business leaders who are making their mark in their chosen profession. "The Rising Stars award recognizes individuals who surpass expectations, raise the bar and set new standards for success," said Dr. Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester. "These young leaders represent the vision and future of Westchester County and its business community and we look forward to paying tribute to them on June 9th."

Chereese Jervis-Hill founded Events To Remember, a division of Events by Chereese, Inc. back in 2004. Events To Remember specializes in the planning & coordination of corporate & social events as well as assisting with design decor, favors, invitations, staffing, rentals, on-site management & more. In 2010, the Yorktown Festival & Street Fair, sponsored by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce, was one of the largest events planned by Events To Remember with 15,000 people in attendance throughout the day, and 225 vendors.
