"Eve's Burden" Group Features The Amazing And Powerful Voice Of Sharon Jordan!

Music critics and reviewers have started talking about the rock group Eve's Burden as it "breaks new ground". Though the band Eve's Burden is fairly new, the very first music album The Black Letter which is an impressive rock driven 17 song disc

This rock driven music album "The Black Letter" is a great debut from a new band that we are hearing much about these days here in the U.K. and the U.S. and Canada as well. Eve's Burden features female singer Sharon Jordan who is a great vocalist, she sounds like a favorable combination of Ann Wilson, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse and Melissa Etheridge. The awesome guitar work throughout the album is crafted by producer-guitarist Jerry Leal, the style of which is reminiscent of Santana, Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page. The group has been rapidly rising ever since they started their musical voyage together. Eve's Burden has already gained a huge fan following, and their music is fascinating in that every song tells a story.

The album has got something delightful as the '80s about the overall sound. Recorded using a combination of vintage analog tape gear coupled with an Apple computer, the tone is wonderful, with keyboards, bass, and drums rounding out the backing instrumentation of the songs and creating a solid, full and real rock sound.

At first Evs's Burden seems like a vehicle for the band's vocalist Sharon Jordan who just does not sound like a white girl, however that's a wonderful thing. Instead, this blues diva and yes, she's earned that queenly title - belts it out like a gospel choir soloist on all of these mostly-funky pop tunes. Upon continued listening however the unique magical uplifting feeling of their songs begins to shine forth. The songs are quite lyrical, melodic, and catchy, with introspective, sociological lyrics capable of entertaining anybody with the magic of real music. The album is available globally and featured in iTunes as well.

Critics already applauded the performance of Sharon Jordan saying that it's not just another album but "17 Tracks of pure Rapture wrapped up in a nice little music package" The album is very well recorded and ready for extensive radio play. The acoustic rock track "Love Keeps Me Hanging On" is filled with catchy lyrics and nice guitar work which is already a favorite in youtube. "The Fame Game" is a song about the life of a breakthrough musician that features memorable lyrics, a catchy chorus and a harmonica, "Candy Girl "is a solid rock song filled with great lyrics and hooky guitar work, "Black Lightning" is a dark bluesy hard hitting guitar anthem. Complete information about the group can be collected from the band's website- evesburden.com and the many youtube videos show the raw power of this group even in a live concert setting.
