ExpatFinder.com launches a vibrant blog and social media campaign to follow the lives of the FIFA expat players that can be followed Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin by all expats around the world.
Online, June 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - ExpatFinder.com, the Singapore based expat website and services, revealed the results of a study on Brazil's FIFA World Cup players that highlights the statistic of Expat Players in each national team.
The number of expat players per national team varies dramatically from as low as 0% for Russia to 100% for Uruguay. Key findings include France with 65% expats, Argentina 87% and Brazil 83%. England likes to keep its players home with a mere 4% of its players playing overseas during the championship season.
As many players play in championships abroad, they are faced with similar challenges as all expats in their everyday lives. Countries such as England (19.7%), Germany (13%) and Spain (13%) are the most welcoming countries for Expat players.
The study shows that midfielders are the most desired position with most expatriation. Representing 37% of the total FIFA Expats, are the likes of the famous Yaya Toure and David Silva, the most sought after midfielders in the game. With 33% of the total FIFA Expats, the Defenders are then the most likely to enjoy the expat life abroad, followed by Forward (21%) and Goalkeeper (9%).
Expats around the world that follow the Brazil World Cup in their respective time zones, will find that most of those players have actually faced many of the challenges of the everyday expats, as much as finding a home, a school for the kids etc.
ExpatFinder.com FIFA Expats' World Cup campaign can be followed on ExpatFinder's Facebook Fan Page, Linkedin and Twitter which started to highlight the everyday lives of the players.
