EzGrip(r) ResQ Pen Gains National/International Healthcare Distribution

After passing product tests, Sammons Preston/Patterson and Kinsman Enterprises distribute in 2011 catalogs

Dexterity Technologies Corp. announced the EzGrip(r) ResQ Gel Pen will be made available to medical facilities - hospitals, clinics, rehab facilities, and private medical offices - throughout the US, UK and France through the Sammons Preston division of Patterson Healthcare 2011 catalog and online sales, and to medical equipment retail dealers through Kinsman Enterprises 2011 Healthcare Catalog. The publications have a combined circulation of approximately 250,000.

The significance of this pen used as a part of medical equipment is in its extensive testing and development. This has earned the EzGrip(r) ResQ Pen a place as a tool in the healthcare field.

The EzGrip(r) branded line by Dextek was originally developed working alongside Occupational and Physical Therapists. It has since gone through a number of trials to prove its effectiveness. The EzGrip(r) pen has undergone clinical testing at the Cleveland Clinic indicating reduced pressure by 57% over standard and rubber gripped/sleeved pens, and consumer studies through the National Health & Wellness Club - a 280 person study resulting in an 86% approval rating.

Tested and reviewed by specialists and experts as well as numerous individuals impacted by the everyday hand difficulties, it has proven to be effective for conditions such as arthritis, JRA, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, forms of dystonia, hand weaknesses due by stroke, diabetic neuropathies, broken bones, dislocated rotator cuffs, MS, Polio and those recovering from hand surgery, among others.

It is currently used in the U.S. by CHT's - Certified Hand Therapists - an Occupational or Physical Therapist required to have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience including 4,000 hours or more of direct practice in hand therapy.
