F+W Media Acquires World Tea Media, Organizers of World Tea Expo

Combined Capabilities Position the Tea Industry for Future Growth. World Tea Media, dedicated to providing business solutions for the global tea industry, today announced that it was acquired by F+W Media, Inc.

World Tea Media, dedicated to providing business solutions for the global tea industry, an $87 billion market opportunity, today announced that it was acquired by F+W Media, Inc. a community-focused, content creator and marketer of products and services for professionals and enthusiasts. World Tea Media, producer of World Tea Expo, the largest and most prominent event for the tea industry, strengthens its position by joining the F+W Media family portfolio of books, ebooks, magazines, events, competitions, ecommerce, education, video and more.

World Tea Media produces World Tea Expo, World Tea East, the North American Tea Championship and World Tea News. The company's offices will remain in in Las Vegas, Nev., becoming an integral part of F+W Media. The World Tea Media executive management team, consisting of George Jage and Kim Jage, as well as all other team members, will continue with the company, joining the F+W Media family.

The F+W Media acquisition of World Tea Media was completed on Jan. 3, and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
