Facebook And Beyond New Website Receives 100,000 Visitors In One Day

Not sure if it is an actual record or not but a new website site about Preachers, Priest, and Pastors received 100,000 visitors in just one day. Pimp Preacher.com a website dedicated to holding preachers accountable for their actions has become an internet sensation, and has experienced a nonstop flow of traffic since the August launch of the site.

Pimp Preacher.com has received numerous compliments for a section of their website titled the Preacher Bureau of Investigations. This section of the site allows abused and exploited church members to anonymously report Pastors and Priest by submitting a Preacher Alert. The Preacher Bureau of Investigation has become a resource for congregations who are in search of a Pastor to fill a vacancy.

Unlike Facebook, Pimp Preacher.com does not require that the visitors join the site which eliminates any privacy concerns or unwanted spam emails. A spokesperson for the site says that their visits will only increase with every scandal involving a Preacher.

"We have taken it upon ourselves to become the regulatory arm for the Christian Community. Our site has become the CNN of evangelical news involving Pastors, Preachers, and Priest. We are not affiliate with any particular ministry or denomination which means we can provide our visitors with just the facts minus the spin. The reason Pimp Preacher. com received over 100,000 visitors is because we make every effort to defend the people who occupy the pews, and they have rewarded us with their frequent visits."

On November 13th Pimp Preacher.com set a traffic record (100,000 visitors in one day) to the amazement of the hosting company and the site creators. There are still plans to take the site public in during the first quarter of 2011, but the site creator has yet to release the details of the deal.

Pimp Preacher.com appears to be the latest site to go viral based on the total amount of daily visitors and large amount of back links referencing the content reported to the Preacher Bureau of Investigations. The site has also witness an increase in their Christian apparel sales, and the launch of their ad platform.

The website has featured stories on Bishop TD Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Bishop Michael Pitts, Kenneth Copeland,Bishop Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar, The Church of God in Christ, and Paula White just to name a few. PimpPreacher.com has averaged 24,000 visitors per day since the site launched in August.
