That is going to be the newest craze! A side-splitting video manipulation application for iPhone was released today by Australian based application developer iApps.

FaceYak is a distinctive app that allows jokesters to take a video of a major face mash up, the resulting creation is a mismatched, frankensteinian collage of the user and, well anything else.

The co-creation anddeveloped by iApps, FaceYak is a unique interactive app in which the user takes a picture with their iPhone or from the gallery and superimpose it with a video of segments of their face, complete with audio.

The new app takes advantage of the functionality of both front and rear facing cameras, and the HD video capability.

Mr Hoy said the release of the iPad 2 couldn't have been timed more perfectly. "We are definitely working towards another version of the app in the very near future. It would be silly not to take advantage of the added functionality of the second generation iPad."
