Fall 2013 Trend Report
Tips on incorporating fall's biggest fashion trends into your wardrobe today!
Online, September 3, 2013 (Newswire.com) - With the start of the fall season, our wardrobe transitions from light and airy summer pieces to heavier fabrics and bold colors. Here are some of the fall's hottest trends and tips on how to incorporate the latest styles into your wardrobe.
1. Cobalt Blue--The intense hue is being called the new black of the season. The bright blue is a 2013 fall/winter statement color. Consider incorporating cobalt accessories such as a clutch or a wristlet, a bold pattern scarf or a beautiful statement necklace for a trendy pop of color.
2. Animal print--Bright animal prints were on display in some of the season's major fashion shows. Animal print can be tricky to pull off successfully. Pair one animal print item, such as a handbag, a pair of shoes or even a jacket, as a spicy addition to a basic jeans and tee combo.
3. Texture--Texture blending is fall's answer to summer's print mixing trend. Texture blending is present in mixed heavy texture fabrics, metals and accessories. Try a chunky necklace that mixes varying mixed metals and/or other materials such as leather and silk ribbon.
4. High shine metallics--Metallic finishes were everywhere on the runway for fall! Adding a metallic piece to your outfit is sure to catch the eye. Experiment with metallic pants, a sparkly necklace, a bold cuff or a shiny handbag.
5. Stack it on!--Layering is a big trend for fall, one that was showcased on the runway by Tibi, Kenzo and Matthew Williamson to name a few. Layering accessories can be a fun way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. Create your own arm party by stacking up chunky and delicate bracelets. Layer on necklaces, short and long, to create a statement all your own.
Fashion trends are all about having envisioning, experimenting and creating a unique look that will allow you to express your individuality. Don't be afraid to try something new. Have fun!
