Family Crisis Center Benefit

A concert to benefit the family crisis center of Baltimore.

Slayton House Theater, Columbia MD
Tuesday, August 31st-7:30 PM
Tickets for the concert are $10

Robert Hitz, students and friends have collaborated to produce a premier concert of original music that will showcase many emerging composers and songwriters in a benefit for the Family Crisis Center. The concerts will debut new works for Strings, Voice and Piano as well as an experimental theater piece exploring abuse and reconciliation.

Our first concert in 2006 showcased the students of Robert Hitz in a benefit concert for the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County and has since grown to produce concerts as well as to premier over 100 new works. Past performances have generated donations of over $30,000 to groups such as the IOCC, Family Crisis Center and this year an on-going music video marathon for the Clermont Foundation Orphanage in Haiti.

We now have an expanding group of young and emerging artists that are developing their craft and realizing a growing sense of service to others in need. Please join us in being a vital part of the creative process that enriches the lives of individuals who are growing into lives of self-empowerment.
