Fanpictor Announces Detroit Lions as New Client

As the clock ticks down to kick-off for the 2017/18 NFL season, Fanpictor has announced it has signed an agreement with a second NFL team, the Detroit Lions.  Fanpictor’s innovative technology, embedded in the Lions app, will provide a new experience that will make gameday even more fun for football fans.

The Lions have partnered with technology start-up, Fanpictor, to create a lightshow as part of their in-game entertainment for the 2017-18 season. The lightshows will be glittering mosaics, created and enjoyed by the fans themselves. The lightshows will take place during player introductions and half–time entertainment, giving all fans the chance to be part of the show! Stephan Schuerer, Fanpictor’s founder and CEO said: "We are thrilled to be working with the Detroit Lions and be part of what will be an unforgettable experience for Lions fans. The Fanpictor lightshow will be created by 65,000 smartphones – 65,000 beacons of light in Ford Field. It’s a great opportunity for fans to really get involved.”

Fans will download the Detroit Lions app on their smartphones to be part of the lightshow experience. Using Fanpictor’s proprietary technology, Acoustic NetworkTM, the music will activate the lightshow over high-frequency sound waves. So when the live entertainment starts, it’s show time!
