Fans and Co-Stars Rally To Support MTV Reality Star

Star of MTV's "Viva La Bam" and "Jackass", Brandon Novak is no stranger to the courtroom and his most recent stint has him serving 11-23 months during the biggest rehab of his life.

Know by his legion of fans as "Novak" or "Nudie Novak" and most recently, "sober soldier", Brandon Novak prepares for his sentence in which the first 30 weeks will be served as weekends in jail at an undisclosed Pennsylvania correctional institute, and the remainder under house arrest at his home in West Chester Pennsylvania where he lives with his co-star and best friend, Bam Margera. This latest sentence couldn't come at a worse time for Novak as he was climbing his way back to sobriety and enjoying his recent success with "Jackass 3D" the movie.

Brandon Novak was first cast into the fame spotlight at the young age of 14 when he was spotted by skate legend Bucky Lasek and signed to a pro contract before he could drive. By the time he was 17 Novak had thrown it all away to a heroin problem in which he talks about in his new autobiography, "Dreamseller". Enter fellow skater and prankster, Bam Margera. Bam and his CKY camp quickly assumed the role of Novak's sober coaches and made a pact to keep Brandon Novak off of the Heroin. As his MTV co-stars get ready to live without him during his sentence, they are confident that he won't relapse and are urging his fans to keep up their support.

Once news of his sentence hit Novak's Facebook, an outpouring of fan support plastered his wall. Novak's assistant, Adam Barnard of Dreamseller Entertainment, gave people outside the camp a play by play on Novak's Facebook with a video update right after the sentencing. In response to Adam's video fans began posting "Free Novak" and the phrase was adopted. Like many jailed stars before him aka, Lil Wayne with "Free Weezy", Novak can now be added to list of stars who had their fans come to their rescue. Along with his management team, Novak has teamed up with The Mediatwist Group to bring fans a "Free Novak" t-shirt line and website. Novak's manager and long time friend Ryan Cleveland states, " All proceeds will go directly to Novak's Defense Fund". The Mediatwist's Chris Kurtz explained that anyone in the world can order the shirts securely online and get them in 2 days and for a limited time with no shipping fee. Fans in the United States are being asked to go to http://freenovak.spreadshirt.com and http://freeweezy.spreadshirt.co.uk in the UK for all official "Free Novak" merchandise.

It's only a matter of time until these t-shirts adorn our kids in the hallways of our high-schools across the globe, but can Novak's struggle for sobriety hold up as long as his fans support?
