Fantasy Sports Site Donating 20% of All Fees to the Jackie Robinson Foundation
Portland, Oregon, March 20, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Today, Fantasy Homeruns, a baseball sports game that tracks only homeruns, announced they will donate 20% of their service fees in 2017 to The Jackie Robinson Foundation. After launching the free online fantasy baseball game ten years ago, Fantasy Homeruns upgraded their online presence offering a low one-time service fee per user in 2016. This year they decided that the service can do more than provide a fun baseball experience for its users; it can help raise money for a non-profit organization that provides positive change for people and communities.
“We believe that everyone in our great country should get an equal and fair chance at a quality education, to become an active and contributing citizen with equal rights,” says Marc Urbaitel, co-owner and lead architect of Fantasy Homeruns. Marc designed and built Fantasy Homeruns with his father, Leon Urbaitel, who resides in Burlington, VT.

Leon moved to the United States as a young child and grew up with Jackie Robinson as his baseball idol. “Jackie Robinson was a baseball pioneer but more importantly he was a leader who believed that opportunity is a right for everyone. We strongly endorse that philosophy,” states Leon.
