With affordable housing becoming scarce, refugee camps rising daily, and over 1.6 billion people struggling to secure decent housing by 2025, one of the biggest challenges world leaders face is how to solve the growing housing crisis.

Founded on the premise that decent housing is not a luxury, but a right, FLUXUS LLC is dedicated to improving the availability and quality of housing in communities across the entire economic spectrum. FLUXUS is pioneering a new way of building sustainable and quality housing for all by providing solutions that meet the needs for crisis and refugees to creating centers for affordable housing.

Together, we are incubating a breakthrough technology to provide a truly affordable housing solution in post-disaster and post-conflict situations, which is becoming politically, economically and morally the biggest challenge facing humanity today.

As part of the FLUXUS mission to democratize affordable, sustainable housing for those in need, FLUXUS is working with international organizations including the United Nations and the World Bank to address housing in conflict areas. Earlier this year FLUXUS was invited by the XPRIZE Foundation, whose mission is to bring about “radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity”, to attend its Visioneering meeting for Refugee Housing Innovation, where the foundation convened a group of thought leaders to collaborate on the humanitarian housing prize design.

Built on the notion that profitability and social responsibility go hand in hand, the FLUXUS SYSTEM is based on community engagement, with an emphasis on building infrastructure and helping to reduce injustices of social exclusion and poverty, through providing beautiful, sustainable housing to communities in need.

“Together, we are incubating a breakthrough technology to provide a truly affordable housing solution in post-disaster and post-conflict situations, which is becoming politically, economically and morally the biggest challenge facing humanity today,” said FLUXUS CEO Fanyu Lin, an award-winning architect who began the project after being inspired by George Maciunas’, founder of Fluxus art movement, vision for a Prefabricated Building System.

As a strong believer of the intersection of architecture and business as impactful collective efforts, particularly in a context of the fourth industrialization and sharing economy, Fanyu Lin is now working with key stakeholders to form strategic partnerships and adjusting the company structure to further attract top talent and fully leverage collective intelligence. Fanyu Lin urges and invites the architecture, engineering, construction and development community, social entrepreneurs, and impact investors, to join forces and participate in the transformative movement to tackle global housing challenge.
