Farrell's Ice Cream Nachos Are A Cool And Tasty Cinco De Mayo Treat

General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin would want you to celebrate his victory over the French at the Battle Of Puebla with Ice Cream Nachos and a Laredo Burger from Farrell's.

With Cinco De Mayo approaching, Farrell's Ice Cream Parlours offer Ice Cream Nachos as an alternative to the traditional chips-with-cheese, nacho celebration.

Farrell's may be the last place someone would think of when celebrating this Mexican holiday, but for those looking for an alternative to the ordinary, Farrell's just may be the answer. Instead of nachos topped with cheese, guacamole, sour cream and black beans, Farrell's offer their spin on the classic with broken up waffle cone "chips", mint chip, chocolate malted crunch and vanilla ice cream topped with hot fudge, caramel, blueberries, whipped cream, almonds and a cherry on top.

"Since it's introduction almost a year ago, our Ice Cream Nachos have quickly become one of our best selling deserts," Says Michael Fleming, CEO, Parlour Enterprises, Inc. "Cinco De Mayo is a perfect time to come in and try our Ice Cream Nachos for the fist time or order them again and yell 'Viva Farrell's'."

If you need something to wash down the Ice Cream Nachos, and are still in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo, Farrell's has something a little more on the spicy side. Their Laredo Burger is a 1/3 pound charbroiled beef with garlic roasted Anaheim chili, pepper jack cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and a chipotle sauce.

About Farrell's
Started by Robert "Bob" Farrell in 1963, Farrell's is a step back in time over 100 years to an old-time ice cream parlour. Farrell's is known for its delicious ice cream and food concoctions, oversized portions, and rowdy but fun party atmosphere. At it's height, Farrell's Ice Cream Parlours had almost 160 locations nation wide. After its sale in 1985 to an investment group, the Farrell's concept was changed and by early 2000 all the Farrell's nationwide were closed. In 2009, Orange County, CA based, Parlour Enterprises Inc revived the original Farrell's concept envisioned by Bob Farrell and began moving ahead with the reopening Farrell's Ice Cream Parlors. Farrell's currently has two locations open, The Shops at Mission Viejo, 779 Shops blvd. Mission Viejo, Ca. 92691 and in Mountasia Family Fun Center in Santa Clarita, 21516 Golden Triange Road, Santa Clarita, Ca. 91350.
