Fashion Basics in the Forefront for Spring 2014
LOLLY Clothing unveils its spring collections for 2014. The season will focus on fashion basics as the brand reveals a new line each month.
Online, November 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - LOLLY Clothing launches spring 2014 collections by leading with fashion basics and simple styles. The brand features premium fabrics and aspires to give its customers on-trend silhouettes in the season's hottest hues.
LOLLY's spring lines include maxi dresses, maxi skirts, knit tops in a range of styles, flowing pants, tank tops, and lightweight sweaters. Known for its innovative retailing model, LOLLY unveils a new collection each month. Spring includes retail deliveries at the end of January, February, and March. Each month features a unique brand story.
LOLLY's collection hinges on its fashion basics program, which is ongoing throughout the year. Why lead with basics? "Versatility. The pieces can be dressed up or down," replies Geneveive Cruz, LOLLY's Creative Director.
Cruz adds, "LOLLY is known for premium, signature fabrics. They are luxurious and comfortable. We always want to focus on this type of chic simplicity, because it gives our brand a timeless identity."
LOLLY's spring 2014 collections are all about "flirty femininity," says Cruz. The brand hopes to give its customers the same high quality they expect each season, while incorporating several signature pieces with "boho-flair," like a jumpsuit paired with a crocheted vest in late spring.
SPRING 2014 COLLECTIONS
LOLLY leads with "Brown Eyed Girl" in late January. The line includes jersey knit and rayon crepe fabrics in muted colors and asymmetrical cuts. Shirts and tops are designed in overlapping styles, giving the illusion of a layered look. Dresses with high-lo hems have a metallic finish in "clay" and "slate" blue.
Mixing fabrics and textures continues in LOLLY's second spring collection: "Behind Blue Eyes." Indigo rounds out the line in French terry sweatshirt fabrics. The complimentary color palate includes "sunkiss" orange, bright "ocean" blue, and white.
Spring 2014 concludes with "Bohemian Rhapsody." The line features crocheted trims and jersey knits in bright colors like "seafoam" blue, "lemonade" yellow, and "terra cotta," a pinkish-orange hue. Watercolor blues and tie-dye inspired colors are found in maxi dresses and skirts, along with billowing sleeves and flowing hemlines.
Cruz notes that "casual sophistication" defines LOLLY's spring collection. "Dresses with low backs and crocheted details will appeal not only to style-driven LOLLY girls, but also to those who want an unassuming look-to look chic without the effort."
