Fashion, Lifestyle And Luxury Bloggers To Get Prime Focus By Fashion Retailers And Brands

QVENDO, in association with IndiBlogger.in, has announced a contest for fashion & lifestyle bloggers. The contest entails prizes worth Rs 1.5 lacs and exclusive membership rights to QVENDO.

Fashion e-retailer, QVENDO announced the launch of a blogger engagement campaign which went live on 19th September 2011. The contest is for the fashion and lifestyle bloggers on IndiBlogger.In, India's largest community and social network, exclusively for bloggers.

With fashion merchandise worth Rs 1.5 lac to be won; participants have to blog about what merchandise they would like to order from QVENDO and why. The entries would be judged on the style quotient, creativity and also the popularity among the readers and the blogging community. Bloggers also have the unique opportunity to offer their readers an exclusive membership to QVENDO; which otherwise is by invite only.

This would also be the first time an e-retailer would be looking at engaging with bloggers at this scale in India. At a time when online shopping websites are vying for mind space from buyers and consumers; this step by QVENDO is expected to help the newly launched private fashion shopping club to make inroads using the prowess of influential fashion, lifestyle and luxury bloggers.

About the campaign, Vineet Rajan, Director of Strategy - IndiBlogger, says, "This would be the first time that bloggers would be able to pass on the exclusivity of a private shopping club to their readers through an exclusive membership for them, which otherwise is limited. The bloggers would have a readership that is interested in lifestyle and luxury shopping hence it makes a win-win situation for both, bloggers and their readers."
