Patricia Dixon is originally a native of New Orleans, LA blown to Houston, TX on the winds of 2005s Hurricane Katrina. Since arriving in Houston, Ms. Dixon has become a Lifetime Member of Gulf Coast Poets and Poetry Works Workshops. Ms. Dixon recently completed her Master's Degree in Literature from University of Houston-Clear Lake, and is currently pursuing a Stegner Writing Fellowship to Stanford University. Her goal is to be an independent poet, author and college professor. Praise is What I Do is first and foremost an expression of deep love and commitment to the God. Its words are an outpouring of praise and worship.
