Federated Canada's SVP Sales Celebrates 7th Year Anniversary
Federated Payments Canada, a leading provider of credit card processing and related merchant account services in Canada, announced today the seventh anniversary of Scott Avery, Senior Vice President of Sales.
Online, October 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Scott joined Federated Payments in 2003 as an account executive where he personally signed up 270 merchants in just 7 ½ months. Scott moved up through the ranks supervising the Denver office where he managed up to 30 sales and telemarketing personnel at any given time. In April, 2006, Scott moved to Federated's headquarters where he was promoted to National Sales Manager. A year later, Scott was promoted again to Senior Vice President of Sales where he is currently responsible for managing over 400 sales and telemarketing professionals throughout North America. A seasoned sales professional, Scott is heavily involved in training all sales reps on closing techniques and industry knowledge and always a phone call away for the management team and sales force.

Prior to that position, Scott was with Labor Ready where, as District Manager, he helped the company grow from 54 locations to over 800 personally covering 17 locations.
