(Melville, NY) - Federated Payments, a leading international provider of credit card processing and related merchant account services for independent business owners in North America, has announced the expansion of the Sales Management team to meet market demand for its products and services with the addition of three Regional Sales Managers to their Sales division.

Tim Hendry is a seasoned industry professional with over 9 years of experience in sales, sales management and operations. Serving as AVP of sales for an Independent Sales Organization in the Merchant Bankcard Industry, he oversaw all sales, training, marketing, and operations with merchants processing across the United States. He was responsible for the addition of over 7,000 accounts over the past 6 years through developing sales strategies, marketing materials, recruiting, and training new representatives.

Prior to joining Federated Payments, Wayne Hayes spent close to 10 years in the Financial and Insurance arenas. Most recently, Wayne was manager of Internet Sales for GEICO insurance. Before GEICO, Wayne worked in various sales and management roles within the mortgage industry including several years at Citibank and CitiFinancial. Wayne received his B.S. in Marketing from Norfolk State University in Virginia where he was a star linebacker for the Norfolk State Spartans.

Rich Horswell has over 30 years experience in the merchant services and processing industry, Rich first joined Federated in 2001 where he spent 3 years in the field and 7 years recruiting, training and managing sales reps in a variety of sales offices including Denver, Tampa and Baltimore. After a brief hiatus, Rich returns to focusing on the Southeast U.S.
