FFPC & FantasyPros Announce New Tournament Collaboration
NEW YORK, March 14, 2023 (Newswire.com) - FFPC LLC (FFPC) and Marzen Media LLC (FantasyPros) have entered into a new partnership to launch the FantasyPros Championship, a fantasy football tournament. The FantasyPros Championship is expected to be one of the biggest season-long contests in fantasy football with up to 20,004 teams competing for over $6 million in prizes and a guaranteed $1 million grand prize.
Fantasy players will have a new way to enjoy their hobby in 2023. Unlike best ball tournaments, the FantasyPros Championship is a managed format which allows participants the ability to draft their players, manage their rosters, place waiver bids on free agents and set their own lineups. FantasyPros Championship drafts will launch in March and will be held exclusively on the FFPC's league management platform at MyFFPC.com and its iOS and Android mobile apps.
David Kim, CEO and co-founder of FantasyPros, said, "We are excited to be working with the industry leader in high-stakes fantasy contests to offer our users a chance to compete with each other and with the best fantasy football players in the world. It's an exciting format with a huge prize pool that should be a ton of fun to play. We look forward to working with the FFPC to make the FantasyPros Championship a truly can't-miss fantasy football contest for years to come."
"This partnership gives us an amazing opportunity to work with one of the industry's most prominent fantasy content and tools providers to help bring our contest platform to millions of fantasy sports enthusiasts," said Alex Kaganovsky, co-founder of the FFPC. "FantasyPros has become the leader in their space thanks to their unrelenting focus on their customers' experience and together we will apply these core values to the FantasyPros Championship."
FantasyPros is one of the biggest names in the fantasy space, known primarily for its Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR), category-leading tools such as Draft Wizard™ and My Playbook, and industrywide expert accuracy scores. The FFPC is a licensed fantasy operator offering season-long, pay-to-play fantasy football leagues, contests and national tournaments at price levels to match any budget.
