It supports simultaneous transmission of four-way video and one-way return data over one optical fiber. The digital transceiver is used in closed-circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring systems operating at a data rate of up to 100kbps. Its hot-plugg able design and wide optical dynamic range of 20dB provides for the convenient installation, maintenance and operation in fiber optic applications.
This fiber optic digital video transceiver module, model GFS118, incorporates LED status indicators for monitoring system operation. It operates even in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical or optical adjustments in field operations. The fiber optic digital video transceiver module uses 10bit/20MHz sampling technology for video digital encoding to ensure the quality of signal transmission. It boasts a BNC video connector, an ST optical connector and a DB9 data connector. It also offers RS232, RS422 and RS485 interfaces for data exchange. The GFS118 digital video transceiver is compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats.
