Financial Education Benefits Center Encourages Members to Take Advantage of Modern Dentistry With New Dental Benefit

Dentistry is more advanced than ever. One of the latest improvements to the dentist office is digital X-rays, which can reduce radiation for the patient and are often quicker for the dentist to process. Financial Education Benefits Center, a membership benefits company, is offering a dental care benefit that discounts procedures so eligible members can take advantage of the latest care available to them.

“Many people are still wary about going to the dentist, despite huge advances in technology and practices,” said Jennifer Martinez, Manager at FEBC. “They also may be hesitating because of the cost. This benefit from FEBC is to encourage eligible members to visit the dentist for necessary care without worrying about the price.”

If you have been avoiding the dentist for some time, the experience may not be what you expected. We hope that those with access to this FEBC benefit can use it to better their dental health and perhaps push them towards healthier dental habits.

Jennifer Martinez, Manager at FEBC

Dental care is an ancient practice, but dentists as we know them today are a more modern occupation. Particularly in England, some “tooth-drawers” were also barbers and surgeons. Though as the centuries wore on, dental medicine became more formalized into a profession. The introduction of new forms of anesthesia throughout the last two centuries revolutionized dental practices. In the United States, the American Dental Association was founded in 1859 to promote high professional standards in the field of dentistry.

But the dentistry of the past is just that—of the past. In addition to digital X-rays, technology such as lasers in dentistry is becoming more and more popular as a tool for better dental care. Eligible FEBC members may be able to enjoy new dental technology and other quality care with the dental care benefit which discounts certain procedures at participating providers. FEBC members should note this benefit is a discount and is not insurance and not intended to replace insurance.

“If you have been avoiding the dentist for some time, the experience may not be what you expected,” said Martinez. “We hope that those with access to this FEBC benefit can use it to better their dental health and perhaps push them towards healthier dental habits.”
