Financial Education Benefits Center Lets Its Members Focus During Road Trips by Offering Roadside Assistance

Road Trip

Making a road trip across America can turn into a nightmare if the car breaks down during the trip. It’s worse if someone who makes the trip can’t enjoy it because they are worried about what they can do when things go wrong. Every trip has its share of hardships, but with the right support, a person should start worrying about whether the trip would be a little better if they went off-road, instead of wondering what to do if their tires can’t handle that decision. Members of programs offered by Financial Education Benefits Center (FEBC), a membership benefits company specializing in health and financial wellness benefits, can rest easy knowing that they have access to roadside assistance.

“If someone is planning a long trip, there’s a good chance something will not go according to plan,” said Jennifer Martinez, manager at FEBC. “If anything goes wrong on a road trip and you aren’t prepared for it then you might have to cut the trip short, which can be a frustrating end to a unique experience.”

When planning for what could go wrong, it might cause a headache just thinking about what can happen to the engine, battery, wheels and everything else. While visiting a mechanic before heading out should probably be a part of any planned trip, it sometimes feels like we need to be a mechanic in order to be ready for the worst-case scenario. If that should happen, then FEBC offers a roadside assistance benefit that can help members in times of vehicular need. The benefit assists members with towing, retrieving keys from within the locked vehicle, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and more so that when the problems start, members won’t need to stop their journey for long. The benefit is not insurance but is intended to provide additional peace of mind.

“Our goal is to provide some sense of security for our members through our benefits,” said Martinez. “We hope that the security our service provides gives our members a better experience and some peace of mind on any journey they decide to take.”
