First LA Limo Promotes Safety Among Teen Drivers

Online, August 25, 2010 (Newswire.com) - First LA Limo launched its "Driving Safe Is Cool" campaign this week. It is part of an initiative to promote safe driving habits among Los Angeles teens.

The campaign is aimed at drivers ages sixteen to nineteen in the Los Angeles area. To participate, teens with valid drivers' licenses can log on FirstLALimo.com and register. In November, ten teens with perfect driving records will receive a free limo package each for an event of their choosing. One lucky teen will also get to drive a limo around Los Angeles for a day. Names will be drawn on Thanksgiving Thursday, to ring in the holiday.

"We've adopted this initiative because we want to make teens excited about safe driving," says Bobby Rezapour of First LA Limo. "Teens are four times more likely to get in an accident than older people. That means that 5,000 teens die each year in the United States because their cars crashed. By promoting safe driving, we hope to get teens to wake up to the risks of careless driving - and maybe win a prize in the process."

So far, the response has been excellent. "Teens are really getting excited about the chance to get free limo service, or even better, to be able to show off and drive around town in a limo," says Bobby Rezapour. First LA Limo is working with schools to promote the contest and help send the message that safety is first, and without it there is no fun.

"We want this to be an annual event," says Bobby Rezapour. "Besides promoting safety, it sends the message that First LA Limo is a responsible company that knows how to turn safety into fun. As a result, when potential clients think of us, they will associate us with those two characteristics.

First LA Limo has long been in the business of protecting teens from careless driving. "We realize that for superstars and VIP's, limos are a matter of luxury," says Bobby. "For parents of teens, however, renting a limo for their children's proms, graduation parties and other events is about keeping their kids from the careless driving that often takes over after a party." To help parents watch out for their teenagers' safety, First LA Limo offers special teen party event packages. "We know not all parents can afford your typical LA limo service, so we offer special rates to parents who are sending their teens off to late-night parties."

LA Limo also promotes teenager safety because it guarantees that chauffeurs will watch out for the teens' well-being. "Our staff knows no underage drinking is allowed in the limo," says Bobby Rezapour. "We let them know they have the authority to enforce the law."
