First Year B.E Classes Inauguration Function At MVJ College Of Engineering

Online, September 5, 2013 (Newswire.com) - MVJ College of Engineering recently welcomed a new batch of students for the academic year 2013-2014. The inauguration was held in a colourful and aesthetically decorated, Dr. M.V Jayaraman auditorium at MVJCE.

The programme began with an invocation dance and the customary lighting of the lamp, which was followed by Dr K.S Badarinarayan, Principal, and MVJCE's welcome speech. In his speech he called upon students to emulate their predecessors to excel in their academic pursuits. The Programme was graced by Shri. M. J. Balachandar, Chairman, MVJCE & Mr. Varun Melanta, Director, MVJCE

The new batches of the students were accompanied by their parents who were excited and happy to see their children entering a new phase of life. The inauguration programme was conducted in two sessions keeping in mind the convenience of the audience which were large in number. Each of the session consisted of a guest speaker who delivered inspiring speeches.

The guests speakers at the inaugural function were, Mr. E.S Chakraborthy, Centre Head, TCS, Bangalore, who advised and enlightened students on topics like fundamental rights, how to communicate them properly and develop a culture to face the competitive world. The other guest speaker Mr. Soumithra Singh, Centre Head, Resource management group, Quest Global, Bangalore, highlighted the need of the hour about the technical challenges that engineers have to face in the industry and encouraged the students to work towards the achievement of their goals.

The inauguration programme came to an end on a happy note with the students, who started familiarizing themselves with their teachers and fellow class mates.
