Flights2All.com Channels Revenue to Good Causes
Flights2all will donate 90% of its 2010 net revenue to good causes in low resource countries. 4 categories: poverty alleviation, education, research, and training in interventions for saving mothers lives, will be covered.

Throughout 2010, Flights2all will channel most of its earnings (90% of net revenue) towards a group of sustainable projects in low resource countries and communities. SusPAS (Sustainable Poverty Alleviating Solutions) {MDGs 1 and 7}: Evaluation and implementation of poverty alleviating solutions from around the world. This project aims to help eradicate extreme poverty and hunger (MDG # 1) amongst rural communities, whilst ensuring environmental sustainability (MDG # 7) at a local level. Universal Education {MDG # 2}: Education will prepare boys and girls for many of life's challenges, leading to economic empowerment {MDG # 1}, gender equality and empowerment of women {MDG # 3}, and the prevention of unplanned pregnancies, a significant contributor to higher maternal mortality and morbidity in low resource settings {MDG # 5}. Children born of this new generation of healthier, better educated, economically active, and happier parents will enjoy better health and lower mortality {MDG # 4}.
Training: The World Health Organisation estimates that about 1500 women die every day from preventable complications of pregnancy and childbirth. 99% of these women are from low resource countries, where motherless newborn babies face much higher risks of death due to many problems including neglect and malnutrition. With training in the management of obstetric emergencies lacking in most of these settings, the provision of low cost and sustainable training, using adaptable interventions such as the PROMPT Education & Development (PROMPT'ED) project, will be undertaken. Such an intervention aims to save both mothers {MDG # 5} and children's lives {MDG # 4}.
Research: Evaluation research will be undertaken alongside each of the three interventions above. This research will help identify and promote rapid uptake of effective interventions, whilst discouraging ineffective and wasteful ones.
