FlightWorks expands its footprint and enhances customer service by opening a sales office at Atlanta's second busiest airport.

Kennesaw, GA - FlightWorks, Inc. of Kennesaw, Georgia, announces the expansion of the company's sales presence with a newly opened sales office at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport (PDK) in Atlanta. The office, located at Signature Flight Support's PDK location, will house regional sales personnel responsible for expanding the company's commercial sales and aircraft management business.

"The newly opened office will bring FlightWorks much closer to the end user at Georgia's most active business aviation airport. We have desired to have a presence at Peachtree-DeKalb for some time, and the new office will assist greatly to enhance our customer service and client interfacing activities," said Ron Smith, Chief Sales Officer for FlightWorks.

The Peachtree-DeKalb Airport is the second busiest airport in Georgia in number of operations only behind Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Classified as a general aviation reliever airport for the Atlanta metropolitan area, the airport is located in the northeastern part of DeKalb County only eight miles from the heart of downtown Atlanta. The 700+ acre airport is a key player in reducing air carrier airport congestion by providing service for general aviation aircraft, including sophisticated corporate and business jets, aircraft charters, training aircraft, helicopters, aircraft maintenance and refurbishment, and personal aircraft used for business and recreational purposes. Peachtree-DeKalb Airport currently hosts three fixed wing and one helicopter fixed based operators (FBO), as well as 125 aviation-related tenants. Approximately 590 aircraft of all types are based on the field. The airport has averaged approximately 228,000 operations (take-offs and landings) per year over the past 30 years.

In addition to opening a new sales office at Peachtree-DeKalb Airport, FlightWorks has also expanded its borders and strengthened its presence in the Western U.S. region with the recent opening of new sales offices in Boise, Idaho, and Salt lake City, Utah. FlightWorks acquisition of Mountain Aviation in 2007, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, has paved the way for the company's strategic growth in the Western U.S. region. With a combined fleet approaching 50 aircraft, the FlightWorks / Mountain Aviation fleet is available for charter in Atlanta, Boise, Denver, Fort Collins, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Nashville, Santa Barbara, Savannah, Tulsa and Washington D.C.
