Flixmedia Extends Global Footprint With Asia Pacific Office
APAC Region is critical for growth for most global Brands
Online, January 28, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Flixmedia, the industry-leader in helping Retailers and Brands drive sales conversion, have incorporated and extended their global reach to Asia Pacific.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, the APAC office will focus on extending services for Brands and Retailers to Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, China and Japan.
Ben Perrins, Commercial Director commented; 'the region is growing and our brand and retailer partners across the APJ region are motivated to enrich product pages with content and sales tools that we provide to maximize conversion. We consider the region vital for our Brands and have therefore invested in a solid, long term foundation, on which to grow.'
Perrins has appointed John Gowland as Business Manager for APJ. Gowland joins Flixmedia with a strong Brand background, having worked most recently with Toshiba, and prior placements at Samsung and HP. 'Gowland's local knowledge and experience with our global Brand partners, plus his long term close relationships with Retailers such as Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi, made John a clear choice to lead the programme' commented Perrins.
China's retail sales are likely to expand faster this year than in 2012 on the government efforts to boost domestic demand, according to the China General commerce chamber report. It is estimated that retail sales will grow by around 15 percent in 2013. Additionally, in the twelve months to November 2012, Australians spent around $12.6 billion on online retail.
Perrins added, 'timing is right and the ability for our Brands to engage Flixmedia globally to provide them with a single point of consolidation for global analytics, account management and syndication is a sign of the market maturing in line with our expectations & our global strategy'.
