Florence Gears Up to Meet Sponsor and CRO Needs by Adding Seasoned CRO Executive
ATLANTA, April 12, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Florence, the company that advances clinical trials with software, continues expansive growth. The most recent member to join the Florence family is Ty Quinn, who will be taking on the role of Vice President and General Manager for Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Sponsors.
“Florence has realized an increasing presence of CRO and sponsor activity in our eRegulatory solution, eBinders, as interest in remote monitoring grows. This shift solidified the need for our newest platform, eHub, which allows clinical operations teams to manage their trial operations more efficiently while maintaining an appropriate level of site oversight,” says Florence CEO, Ryan Jones. “As demand for Florence eHub grows, Ty will play an integral role in shaping how we can meet the specific needs of CROs and sponsors alike.”
Ty has over 20 years of leadership experience at CROs and academic research institutions, most recently with a track record of leading global, high-performing business development teams to achieve meaningful results. During his time as an executive at INC Research, his team supported revenue growth from $35 million to $660 million and has deployed growth and process improvement initiatives at inVentiv Health Clinical and a series of organizations with which he has consulted.
“I am over the moon to be joining the Florence team,” Ty said. “I believe in how best of breed technologies can change how research gets done. I’m excited to apply my experience in the CRO space to support the fastest-growing part of Florence, all the while working with a group of uber-talented, compassionate and hard-working professionals. I believe that I am where I am supposed to be!”
