Florida Education Foundation To Re-Design Website With SoFla Web Studio Using Drupal

Online, November 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - SoFla Web Studio (http://www.soflaweb.com), a privately owned South Florida web design, Drupal development and search engine optimization agency, has signed an agreement with the Florida Education Foundation to design and develop a new website for their organization.

The Florida Education Foundation promotes and supports academic excellence for Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students in Florida. They recognize outstanding teachers and educational contributors, develop strategic alliances with business organizations and advance statewide educational initiatives. The Foundation's current website, www.floridaeducationfoundation.org, provides access and information for all of the organizations efforts, programs and initiatives.

The requirements for the re-design project included a new engaging design to follow a newly re-designed logo and identity package, along with enhanced functionality to allow for easy content management, frequent updates and even e-commerce.

SoFla Web Studio recommended Drupal as the backend system to manage the content of the website. Drupal offers all of the flexibility needed to meet the current requirements and will be able to easily scale as the needs of the Foundation grow and change.

The Florida Education Foundation's new website development project was begun in November 2010 and is scheduled to be completed in Q1 2011.
