Florida Self Storage Association Announces the FSSA Information Highway
PALM COAST, Fla., February 13, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The Florida Self Storage Association (FSSA), a state-based organization for self-storage owners, operators and vendors who service the self-storage industry, announced the FSSA Information Highway is taking place Feb. 22, 2018, at the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration (now formally the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration) in Kissimmee, Florida. This event is open to self-storage owners, managers, operators, investors and vendors.
This day-long educational session focusing on operations and technology is taking the place of FSSA's annual Conference & EXPO as they welcome the national Self Storage Association to Orlando for their spring show in March.
FSSA remains one of the pre-eminent organizations within the self-storage industry. The FSSA is a great resource for owners and vendors alike to stay up-to-date on trends and issues that may impact our businesses. The FSSA Information Highway features two keynote speakers, breakout sessions and time for networking. Keynotes include Robert A. Chiti of OpenTech Alliance who will cover Why the Golden Rule is Bad for Business. The afternoon keynote, How Google is Affecting the Self Storage Industry, is presented by Ken Hendrickson of Easy Storage Solutions. Manager breakout sessions include industry expert Anne Ballard of Universal Storage Group on Let's Go Beyond the Basics and Get Better, as well as 5 Ways to Cut Costs Using Mobile Technology with SiteLink's Olivia Austin. The owner breakout sessions include Joseph D. Ort of The Ort Law Firm presenting Buying and Selling Self Storage Centers - A Real Estate Attorney's Perspective and The Importance of Cybersecurity: Don't be the Next Equifax with Rick Allen of OpenEdge, Lois Brown of Space Control Systems and Dale Taylor of RackSpace.
