Florida Startup Brings Camel Milk Products to the US Market
Wellington, Florida, June 24, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Camel Life, Inc. is a newly formed startup preparing to bring disruptive innovation to the health and beauty aisle as well as the dairy case. The startup company's initial employee roster is 'classic family business' with Robb's wife Stephanie serving as President, Robb Jr. as the Head of Logistics, twins Alex and Kyle in Business Development, and Connor serving as VP of Technology. The family camel, Sheik, is the company mascot.
Sheik is an 18 month old male dromedary rescued by its owners from what they deemed an abusive petting zoo. After bottle feeding his baby camel for 7 months, Robb Heering, a Florida-based lawyer, entrepreneur, and animal advocate decided he wanted to build a business around camels. After toying with the possibility of creating North America’s largest camel dairy, he decided to first venture in a different direction.
With partners and suppliers in Dubai, UAE, Heering developed a plan and strategy to bring camel milk soaps, lip balms, body lotion, shampoo, and of course camel milk to the North American market in a very, very big way.
The CamelLife.com website is up and running and selling Camel Milk soap like, well like Camel Milk Soap. More products are on the horizon with Camel Milk Lip Balm arriving soon, and shampoo, body lotions, and more on the way.
Unlike traditional bar soap including the legacy brands found in every grocery store in the country, Camel Life’s Camel Milk Soaps are handcrafted with all natural and pure ingredients. No harsh chemicals, no parabens, no preservatives, none of the garbage found in nearly all other soaps. Camel Life’s soaps are handcrafted by skilled soapmakers using only the finest food grade ingredients.
"Consumers," says Heering, "are largely unaware of the toxic ingredients contained in their favorite soaps and shower gels. Some of the most commonly used ingredients in popular, household name bar soaps and shower gels include parabens. Scientific studies have repeatedly shown that being exposed to parabens boosts a woman’s risk of developing breast cancer (because parabens mimic the action of the hormone estrogen). Further studies have demonstrated that parabens can also cause neurological problems by way of nervous system toxicity.”
Another harmful ingredient found in popular soap brands is Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS). When SLS bonds with other common soap ingredients, it becomes a carcinogenic nitrosamine. One of the reasons SLS is so dangerous is that it permeates your skin very easily. Studies have shown that SLS causes skin irritation, leads to organ toxicity, promotes hormonal disruptions and increases your susceptibility to mood disorders.
“The list goes on and on,” says Heering. “If consumers would actually do a little research and read ingredient lists, they would seriously consider switching things up”.
While their first product is Camel Milk Soap, which is available in several fragrances as well as an unscented version, the company is currently handcrafting a pure camel milk lip balm line, body lotion, shampoo, and more.
By the end of the year, Camel Life will be offering the ultimate energy drink, Pure Camel Milk, to be sold in single serving sized, long shelf life containers.
About Camel Life, Inc.
Camel Life was created to bring camel milk and camel milk products to the US market en mass. While several small family farms current raise and milk camels, the number of camels existing in the US is very small, with camel milk in very short supply. In addition, current US based camel farm operations are not only small, but lacking in technology and facilities. Camel Life has contracted directly with the largest and most technologically advanced camel dairy in the world, where thousands of camels are milked daily in a beautiful and meticulously maintained state of the art complex. The company has commenced its e-commerce site at www.camellife.com and will have products available in select retail locations within the next few months. Through strategic disruptive innovation, Camel Life is poised to add products to the health and beauty aisle as well as the dairy case.
