Flow Waterjet Drives Next Level Performance
KENT, Wash., October 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Flow International Corporation, the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure waterjet solutions for cutting applications, will make its NASCAR debut with Joe Gibbs Racing at Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race. The race will be held at the Kansas City Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Driven by Joe Gibbs Racing driver Brandon Jones, the No. 19, Flow Waterjet Toyota Supra car will hit the track wrapped in Flow’s signature teal. “Our Flow waterjet is a workhorse behind the scenes at Joe Gibbs Racing, contributing week in and week out to our success on the track. It’s great to share the technology that is so important to our car's performance under the hood, on the outside of the car with our loyal fans,” says Mark Bringle, technical partner activation manager of Joe Gibbs Racing.
Earlier this year, Joe Gibbs Racing added a Flow Mach 500 4020 with a Dynamic XD® cutting head and HyperJet® pump to their production operations at their Huntersville facility. With high-precision, multi-axis cutting capabilities, the addition expanded the team’s ability to desi and manufacture custom performance parts necessary helping to maintain a competitive edge on the track.
“We are beyond excited to share Flow technology with the loyal fans of NASCAR,” says Steve Rosenblum, director of global marketing at Flow. “As fans ourselves, we are proud to sponsor the Joe Gibbs team with elite waterjet technology to support their goals and contribute to their astounding successes on the track.”
