Flowcrete Strengthens Regional Presence With New Office In Indonesia
Online, August 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The move follows on from recent successes in this key market with flooring projects carried out for multinational companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, L'Oreal, Unilever, Frisian Flag and Charoen Pokphand.
Fabian Paimanta, formerly Business Manager at BASF, has been appointed as Country Manager, with Sudarman Patmoharjo coming on board to provide technical site support. Both have extensive experience in the specialist flooring sector with particular knowledge of resin flooring products.
Flowcrete Asia's Director of Sales Desmond Sin says, "This is a significant step forward in the expansion of our regional network and will enable us to better service our customers in this important market. Having technical staff on the ground also means we will be able to provide site support to our approved applicators in the area."
Much of Flowcrete Indonesia's initial focus will be on the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and automotive sectors where Flowcrete's range of seamless resin systems caters to multiple applications. Systems include Flowfresh with built-in antimicrobial for areas requiring the highest levels of hygiene, Flowfast for fast-track refurbishment work and Deckshield for car park coating.
Accredited with Singapore's Green Label in the Environmentally Friendly/Low VOC Paints Category, Deckshield is available in different formulations for exposed decks, intermediate decks and ramps. The seamless, slip resistant surface makes it easy to clean and the range of colours enables parking bays, driveways and pedestrian walkways to be safely delineated.
Lighting levels are improved through Deckshield's reflective properties, enhancing the overall ambience of the car park and helping operators to reduce energy consumption.
With the rapid-cure Flowfast system, flooring can be ready to receive traffic just two hours after application, offering key advantages where large areas need to be installed quickly and allowing environments to be transformed virtually overnight. The hard-wearing yet decorative system can be installed without having to remove the existing flooring, reducing waste and substantially minimising noise levels during the project.
"Specifiers are moving up the value chain as owners and developers look for sustainable finishes for their projects. Our seamless flooring systems offer high performance characteristics with eco-friendly properties and pleasing aesthetics," adds Mr Sin.
