Focus Pointe Global Acquires Delve
Online, October 14, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Focus Pointe Global (FPG), a leading provider of marketing research data collection, today announced the acquisition of Delve, a St. Louis-based marketing research company.
The acquisition of Delve is consistent with Focus Pointe Global's strategy to increase market share, expand FPG's locations and accessibility, and provide an expanded suite of qualitative and quantitative service offering for its clients.
"This is an exciting time for both companies. The combined service offerings and talent that Focus Pointe Global and Delve now bring to the marketing research industry is unprecedented. This transaction is all about meeting the expanding needs of our customers," said Noel Sitzmann, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Pointe Global.
Focus Pointe Global offers both companies' client base an expansive national footprint with a set of new and innovative service offerings:
- It creates the largest Focus Group Facilities and Services company in the U.S. with 18 geographically spread city locations. FPG can now offer clients wider access to the markets needed for their research studies.
- The business mix of each company is highly complementary to the other. As an example, Delve brings an expanded presence in Government Agency and Central Location Testing studies, while FPG brings a superior industry recruiting process built upon a unique proprietary software program, an expansive panel, and Mystery Shopping.
- The combined company adds to the depth of the Management Team and provides best practices of both Delve and FPG.
- It expands the FPG QualPanelâ„¢ to provide a greater number of respondents from which to recruit participants.
The new Focus Pointe Global will offer clients a total of 18 research facilities in major markets across the US: Appleton (WI), Atlanta, Bala Cynwyd (PA), Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, St. Louis, San Francisco, and Teaneck (NJ). Duplicative Delve facilities in the Philadelphia and Dallas suburbs will be closed as leases expire.
"We are thrilled to join the Focus Pointe Global team. Our combined clients and employees, as well as the industry at large, will benefit from this transaction as we are taking two premier marketing research companies and strategically combining them to create a first-class organization that is truly coast-to-coast," said Tim Sauer, Chief Executive Officer of Delve.
Following the acquisition, the management team will continue to be led by Focus Pointe Global's President, Laura Livers, with Delve's Tim Sauer heading up the combined company's Business Development and Sales & Marketing organizations. Noel Sitzmann will remain as the combined company's CEO.
