Food TV Buys Catch and Cook! With Adventure Aaron
Online, January 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Adventure Aaron LLC has accepted an early offer from popular channel FOOD TV, for 'Catch and Cook! With Adventure Aaron'.
"We are really pleased to be showcasing the series via Food TV of not only the absolute beauty of New Zealand, but some amazing Master Classes from chefs who are known for their beautiful and diverse food all around the world." Julia Baylis, Head of Acquisitions for the The Living Channel of which Food TV is part, says they are pleased to be hosting such an exciting project.
"The opportunity to present a project that deals with food, action, adventure - and the very worthwhile cause of CanTeen doesn't come along often and we are delighted to be involved with Catch and Cook! With Adventure Aaron." she says.
Fresh from his exploits in Northland, US-based Aaron Carotta is arriving in Auckland and will be meeting chef Mark Southon tomorrow straight off the America's Cup boat for the next stage of the series Catch and Cook! with Adventure Aaron. The challenge will be issued by Mark for Aaron to catch whatever it is Mark has dreamed up - all Aaron knows is that it will involve a bow and arrow, definitely a first for him!
"It is a great feeling when the odds are against you in life, yet you can seize the opportunity to take advantage of it and motivate others to do the same thing." Says, Aaron Carotta.
The series is expected to air to all of New Zealand on Sky TV beginning in May of 2012, 6 days a week.
"Cooking is hot at the moment, but when you add adventure to the mix, that is the missing ingredient that will make the 'catch', enough to feed a country! I look forward to challenging these Master Chefs with some unusual items. Hopefully it allows them the chance to showcase the simplicity of New Zealand and the wonderful food it offers!" Says Aaron
