For The First Time In Asia, Glam Asia Presents: Asia's Top Glam Bloggers
Glam Asia, a publication of the world's second largest social media company Glam Media, launches a region-wide search for Asia's next big thing in the fashion blogosphere.
Online, February 21, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Singapore - Glam Asia (www.glamasia.com) has officially launched its much-anticipated Asia's Top Glam Bloggers, a never-before region-wide bloggers' competition that aims to seek out Asia's very own fashion/beauty/lifestyle blogging stars - aka the Susie Bubbles of Asia - from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Hong Kong, China and Thailand.
The competition, held from 1 February to 30 March, 2012, also serves to present a unique opportunity for both existing and aspiring bloggers to reach a wide audience of as many as 250 million via the global Glam Media network, and make a name for themselves in the fashion blogosphere and beyond.
Organised in conjunction with local Fashion Social Network Clozette.co, Asia's Top Glam Bloggers has glamorous prizes worth as much as S$6,800 up for grabs, thanks to official sponsors including luxury resorts Indigo Pearl, Angsana Laguna and Westin Siray Bay in Phuket, international lifestyle luxury brand Club 21, and premier luxury e-commerce site LaPrendo, among others.
Glam Asia has also partnered up with renowned bloggers from around the region, namely Sonia Eryka from Indonesia (A Diary Of The Riotous Belle), Joyce Kristen Wong from Malaysia (Kinky Blue Fairy), Tricia Gosingtian (Tricia Will Go Places) and Viona Wang (VW) from Singapore, as well as local fashion designer Ginette Chittick, to be guest judges of the competition.

Asia's Top Glam Bloggers seeks participants - for both the Established Bloggers category and the New & Aspiring Bloggers category - who are passionate about fashion, beauty and lifestyle, boast a unique flair for writing for a savvy and sophisticated audience, have sound opinions on the subject(s), and know exactly what it takes to keep readers coming back for more.
Fabulous prizes aside, winners of the competition also stand to win a contract to be one of Glam Asia's resident or partner bloggers.
A total of seven prizes will be awarded to: Two grand winners, the first and second runners-up, as well as a special "Fan Favourite" prize which will go out to the blogger with the most votes from Glam Asia fans. All winners will be announced on the 30 March 2012 on the Glam Asia microsite(http://blogs.glamasia.com/bloggersearch).
Entry submission starts 1 February 2012, 10am (Singapore time), via Glam Asia's microsite (http://blogs.glamasia.com/bloggersearch), and ends 29 February 2012, 5pm (Singapore time).
