Fordham University to Host Exclusive Southern Bowl Tryout in Front of NFL Scout
Event offers the opportunity for players to showcase their talent in front of Tony Fulton, nation's No. 1 speed and agility coach
Bronx, New York, July 21, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Join us for the opportunity to be scouted by Tony Fulton and Giesler, an NFL agency, along with the chance to be drafted to the Southern Bowl, taking place March 2016 in New Zealand. Those selected will practice in front of NFL scouts for two weeks (almost half the time of an NFL Training Camp), play in two games in front of 85,000 fans, and will be broadcast via international television.
The tryout will include a Combine workout, consisting of a 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone drill and shuttle run. Upon completion, Super Bowl XXXI winning coach Mike Holmgren will review all participants and select players for the Southern Bowl roster.
Players selected for the Southern Bowl roster, which will be announced in October, will receive the following:
