FORE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT'S XX Annual Convocation To Be Held On 10th May 2013

Online, May 3, 2013 (Newswire.com) - FORE School of Management , New Delhi- widely regarded as one of the foremost B-schools in India - will be holding its XX Annual Convocation on Friday, May 10, 2013. The students of PGDM 20th batch, and PGDM International Business Management 5th batch will be passing out of the FORE School of Management, and taking their places in the corporate world. Mr. D. Shivakumar, President AIMA, and Senior Vice President India, Middle East and Africa for Nokia, will be the honorable Chief Guest at the convocation ceremony.

The convocation ceremony will begin sharp at 4 PM on Tuesday, the 8th of May 2012, with the convocation procession entering the FORE School of Management Adhitam Kendra. After lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the dignitaries on the dais, Mr. R.C. Sharma, President, FORE School of Management, New Delhi will declare the convocation open. This will be followed by the presentation of the activity report for 2011-12 by Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi and welcoming the Chief Guest for the convocation, Mr. D. Shivakumar, President AIMA, and Senior Vice President India, Middle East and Africa for Nokia. The President, FORE School of Management will thereafter confer diplomas on the passing out students after which the Hon'ble Chief Guest will award the scholastic medals and deliver the Convocation Address. The vote of thanks will thereafter be ceremoniously delivered, after which the convocation will be declared closed in the backdrop of the national anthem. The convocation procession will leave the hall at 5.55 PM to the Pragya Hall. Group photographs of the passing out batch with the Chief Guest will follow immediately after.

The annual convocation of FORE School of Management is usually a high profile affair with corporate and academic intelligentsia descending upon FORE to be a part of the occasion not only just to congratulate the passing out batches, but to hear corporate leaders of the world inspiring the passing out batches with their wisdom. Mr D. Shivakumar is a part of this very elite list, which includes Mr. Narayana Murthy - the legendary Chairman Emeritus of Infosys - who was the Chief Guest for the occasion last year 2012.

While all major scholastic awards at last year's annual convocation ceremony of FORE School of Management, New Delhi were swept away by women management students, it is to be seen whether the women student managers will be able to deliver an encore this year as well, or whether the boys will be back in the reckoning!
